Tenkai terms of use

Tenkai gives general fitness guidance. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified coach who can see you train.

• Check with a doctor before you start if you have a heart, lung, joint or other medical condition, are pregnant or recently gave birth, or haven't trained in a long time.
• Stop if you feel sharp pain, dizziness, chest pain or unusual shortness of breath, and get medical help if it doesn't pass.
• Choose weights you can control, warm up, and train in a safe space with enough room around you.

You train at your own risk. Telling the app about pain helps it avoid some moves, but it can't assess an injury.

Your plans, weights and chat replies are written by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) from your answers and the workouts you log. It can be wrong. Use your own judgement, and ignore any suggestion that doesn't feel safe for you.

You start as a guest. Save your progress with an email so you can sign in on another phone. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.

Use the app for your own training. Don't misuse it, try to break it, or use the coach to produce content unrelated to training.

• Your first week of training is free. Tenkai Pro is needed for new weeks and plan changes after that.
• Tenkai Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID at the price shown in the app before you buy.
• A free trial, when offered, turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase or when the trial ends.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or from Profile in the app.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.
• Restore purchases in the app if you reinstall or change phones.

AI requests cost money, so each account has a daily number of plan builds and coach messages. The app tells you when you reach it and when more are available.

We improve Tenkai often, which can change or remove features. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and big changes are announced in the app. We try to keep the service running, but can't promise it is always available or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, Tenkai is provided as is, and we aren't liable for injuries or losses from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
